I'm sending my heartfelt condolences to the family. Early (as we called him) and I met while living and working in the Washington DC area. We shared the same daily commute to work at the bus stop at the corner of 14th & Independence Ave; and socialized and hung out with mutual friends often. Then, we somehow discovered that his cousin (Michelle) was my college friend and sorority sister. May he rest in peace in the arms of our Heavenly Father. Love, Latonya Alexander Henry

I remember walking pass Wayne's office and was stopped by the pictures he had on display of his beautiful baby girl. That was the first time actually meeting Wayne. He had deep love for his wife and daughter, you could tell by the way he would always smile when he spoke about them. Wayne was a nice person that will be missed by many. My prayer is that God will provide you peace and understanding during your time of sorrow. Gone much too soon!

I remember no matter what time of day or night I could always look out the window and see Wayne messing around in the garage, working on his bike or just chillin. Always had a smile, and always kept you laughing. If you were down, just being around him took your mind off whatever you were feeling down about. You ended up forgetting about what you feeling down about. We kept in touch over Facebook from time to time, he will be truly missed. My memory of Wayne: He use to work in the Piggy Wiggly grocery store in town. And I would call him crazy cause he was so funny. He told me,"you're crazier than a "fruit loop". I said you're crazier than "fruit cocktail". So that was our name for each other. He was fruit cocktail and I was fruit loop. As we got older it use to tickle us that we still called each other that. Sending my heartfelt love and prayers to Wanda, Skyye, Wayne Jr and Aunt Mary during this difficult time. Wayne was so full of life, always the life of the party with the most infectious laugh I have ever heard. His whole face would light up when he laughed. One of many memories that I have are when Tim and I went to Las Vegas with Wayne and Wanda in 2006. Tim and I arrived early and got a standard room. Wayne and Wanda arrived late and there were no more standard rooms so they got a penthouse suite with a private elevator. We had such a good time living like the Jeffersons in their room until Tim and I got sick a few days later with a fever, body aches, headache and sore throat. We winded up having to go to the ER to find out we both had strep throat and the flu. From then on Wayne and Wanda saw to it that we were hydrated and well medicated by dropping off bags of stuff by the door each day. They would knock and run. I remember that like it was yesterday. Wayne will be so very missed. I love you family.

My dad always used to tell me keep God in front and I got your back. When it came down to it he meant that. If ever he was asked to do something he would always figure it out, and that meant a lot! I love you and I miss you dad. I just knew we was gonna be like Ray and Claude talking crazy in our old age together!! #doubletroubleforLife

Wayne was a wonderful man.one year in Boston martavius graduated from high school. Wayne were the bartender it was all decorated like Hawaii . Boy you couldn't tell him he didn't know how to make mixed drinks 🍹😃.. they was delicious we had such a good time. I will never forget that.. he was such a caring man gone too soon. We will miss you Wayne ❤️.
