Obituary For Johnnie Bennett Sr.

Johnnie Bennett, Sr. was born on October 29, 1945 to the late Walter Tabb, Sr., and the late Ora Lee Bennett in Safford, Alabama. Johnnie Bennett, Sr., was respectfully reared by the late Ida Mae Gladden.
He confessed Christ at an early age and later joined The Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Uniontown, Alabama. Johnnie Bennett, Sr., married the love his life Mildred Lee Bennett and to this union three children were born. He remained bonded in love until God called him home at his residence on December 11, 2022.
He leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife of 49 years Mildred Lee Bennett; one son: Johnny Bennett, Jr. (Monique Bennett), two daughters: Cassandra Demetrius Bennett (Roderick Scott), Cynthia Denise Bennett (Arthur Burrell); stepmother: Mary Tabb; six grandchildren: Jaeron Doshae Bennett, JeMarcus Rai-Shawn Burrell, JaMya She-Keira Burrell, LaKia Unique Thomas, Christian Thomas, and Toure Thomas; four brothers: Joe Tabb (Evelyn Tabb), Isiah Tabb (Joyce Tabb), Walter Tabb, Jr. (Georgia Tabb), Willie Tabb (Beverly Tabb); eight sisters: Dorothy Bennett, Minnie Burrell, Elnora Boone, Gloria Holt, Felechia Hood (Fred Hood), Annie Waller, Carrie Gladden, and Diane Mingo (Jerome Mingo).
He also had numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends who loved him dearly.
